This race, now in its 33rd year, started before a single knobby bike tire rolled around the Potowatami Trail. "Poto", is a big bad loop of hilly kick your butt wilderness single track trail. The 12,000 acres of Pinckney Recreation Area remains a pristine and wild, even though it's only a 55 minute drive from metro Detroit. Race options include a 5 mile, half-marathon, marathon and 50k. There is a 3.5 hour cut off for the Half Marathon. There is an 8 hour cut off time for the Marathon and 50K. All Trail Marathon Weekend courses cover rocky, rooty and hilly terrain often along a single track trail, so strollers are not allowed on the course. There is no race day registration for this event.
