Mobile Pressure Washing
Required State License(s):
While Mobile Pressure Washing units don't need a business license to be recognized as a pressure washer, the activity of pressure washing usually requires a wastewater discharge permit from the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), or the local wastewater treatment plant depending upon the destination of the wastewater discharge.
For a better understanding of permits and licenses associated with wastewater disposal, which will depend upon your chosen wastewater destination, refer to: Michigan.gov/Documents/deq/deq-ead-tas-powrwash_320867_7.pdf and for follow-up questions contact EGLE at 800-662-9278 or egle-assist@michigan.gov.
