Ducks Unlimited License Plate
Michigan began issuing specialty license plates in 2001 to raise money for several state-supported causes. The Ducks Unlimited plate was introduced in 2014. Ducks Unlimited was formed in 1937 during the Dust Bowl when North America's drought-plagued waterfowl populations were severely decimated. A small group of sportsmen joined together to form an organization that became known as Ducks Unlimited with the mission to conserve and promote waterfowl habitat.
Fundraising plates can only be used on passenger cars, pickup trucks, vans, and motor homes. Motorcycles and trailers are not eligible for these plates.
You can order the fundraising license plates online, by mail, or at any Secretary of State branch office. The plate will be mailed to you within 14 business days from the date the plate is ordered.
To purchase a plate by mail, complete and print the Ducks Unlimited License Plate Order Form.
