NOVI, Mich. – The Secretary of State's Mobile Office makes renewing your watercraft, license plates or driver's license a breeze when it stops by Outdoorama at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi starting Thursday, Secretary of State Ruth Johnson announced today.
"Hunters, anglers and campers are all encouraged to come by our booth to quickly and easily take care of Secretary of State business," Johnson said. "You also can sign up for our electronic newsletter or for email or text reminders of upcoming elections, plate expirations and more. Best of all, you can do all this while learning about the latest in outdoor activities and gear."
Watercraft registration renewal notices are mailed out in March.
"We're pleased to have the Michigan Secretary of State's Office in attendance at the 41st annual Outdoorama," said show manager Ben Nielsen. "This state department interacts with hundreds of thousands of Michigan sportsmen and women, who have been visiting the SOS booth at Outdoorama for many years."
Outdoorama showcases the latest in hunting, fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking and other outdoor activities. The Mobile Office will be available during the show's public days, which run Feb. 27 through March 2 at 46100 Grand River Drive in Novi. Show hours are as follows:
