Event connects low-income households to service providers
LANSING, Mich. – The Secretary of State Mobile Office is joining Oakland County’s Community Resource Day next week to offer identification to area residents.
The event takes place Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Genesis Church, 309 N. Main Street in Royal Oak.
“Attendees in need of identification or other Secretary of State services are encouraged to stop by and take advantage of this opportunity,” Johnson said.
The Community Resource Day is designed to connect low-income and homeless households to community services. In past years organizations offering information on housing, legal aid, healthcare, employment services and other available resources have participated.
