Visitors can renew plates and licenses, register to vote
Secretary of State Ruth Johnson today announced that the Secretary of State’s Mobile Office is joining Detroit’s Lakeshore Legal Aid at a construction trades resource fair on Thursday, April 12.
The office will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 2080 W Grand Blvd. in Detroit. Other participants include the Construction Association of Michigan, Henry Ford Health System, Goodwill, DTE Energy and Ford.
“We can assist you in applying for a driver’s license or identification, help you register to vote and much more,” Johnson said. “You can also renew your license plate tabs, change your address, and sign up on the Michigan Organ Donor Registry. Take advantage of our presence in your neighborhood and stop by!”
The Mobile Office offers all the services available at a traditional office. That includes instant titles, renewing watercraft registrations and much more. Residents can also ask questions about services.
