JUNE 6, 2018
Visitors can renew license plate tabs, driver’s licenses, more
Secretary of State Ruth Johnson today announced that the Mobile Office will visit the Wayne County Community College District Eastern Campus on Thursday, June 21.
The office will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 801 West Fort St., Detroit, and the public is welcome to stop by.
“Summer is a busy time, even for college students, so we’re pleased to offer our services right on campus,” Johnson said. “I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and take care of your Secretary of State business while the Mobile Office is in your community.”
Visitors can renew driver’s licenses, license plate tabs and watercraft registration. Other services offered by the Mobile Office include voter registration, address changes, signing up on the Michigan Organ Donor Registry and much more. Residents can also ask questions about the elimination of Driver Responsibility Fees, including those who have associated debt or a related driver’s license suspension.
