Beginning Oct. 1, 2021, you must show a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID card, or an alternative form of acceptable identification, for domestic air travel and for entering certain federal facilities. The federal Transportation Security Administration website lists acceptable alternatives to a state-issued REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID card.
