When will the department begin accepting and completing transactions by mail?

The department’s mail operations have resumed; however, we caution that customers may continue to experience delays in the processing and return of documents and processing of payment submitted by mail as our mail operations are limited to adhere to social distancing guidelines and CDC recommendations for the safety and health of staff. Customers can anticipate a delay in receiving their renewed documents by mail  

Those who submitted payment along with their transaction by mail may monitor the status of their request by monitoring the bank account from which they submitted payment. Once a transaction has been processed, the payment will show as being withdrawn in the account. From this point, customers can expect their requested document in the mail within 30 days.
