Road to Restoration mini clinics

What is Road to Restoration?

Road to Restoration clinics assist Michigan residents in understanding how to get their driving privileges restored. Residents who attend may meet with Michigan Department of State (MDOS) staff and/or talk with volunteer attorneys to determine the steps necessary to reinstate their driver’s license. MDOS produces 17 major clinics and supports 50+ mini clinics annually across the state of Michigan.

What makes a mini clinic different from a major clinic?

Mini clinics are 3 to 4-hour Road to Restoration events hosted by community partners and supported by MDOS. Essentially, we hope to make an even stronger impact by working with hosts who can help us reach their community members to provide the resources they need to regain their licenses.

More information is on the Frequently Asked Questions page.
