I received a letter from the Michigan Department of Treasury requesting my Federal Account Transcripts, what does that mean and where can I obtain them?
Account Transcripts must be requested from the IRS to provide a breakdown of your federal tax account for the period(s) or years that were compromised by the IRS. This does not include return transcripts, records of account, wage and income transcripts, certificate of release of Federal Tax Lien, etc. You can obtain your account transcripts at this link.
