What is the Michigan Tax Tribunal?

The Tribunal is an administrative court that hears appeals relating to individual, property, and business tax matters involving taxes enforced by the Michigan Department of Treasury, such as income, single business, sales and use taxes, etc.

The Tribunal consists of seven members representing a cross-section of tax disciplines, such as attorneys, a certified public accountant, an assessor, an appraiser, etc.
