A prehearing conference is a proceeding conducted by the Tribunal to discuss the status of an appeal and schedule the appeal for hearing. Prehearing conferences may be conducted telephonically or in-person and last approximately 45 minutes.
In-person prehearing conferences are conducted at the Tribunal's Lansing office.
The presiding judge at a prehearing conference will be a Tribunal member or hearing officer.
