    In partnership with Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators (MASA), the Michigan Department of Treasury is pleased to announce a joint webinar titled, “Teachers and School Support Staff COVID-19 Grant Program,” at 11:00 AM on November 5, 2020.Topics will include:

    • Overview of the COVID-19 Grant Programs and Public Act 166 of 2020
    • Review of classroom teacher and school support staff qualifications
    • Review of classroom teacher and school support staff eligibility requirements
    • Review of the certification process and certification form 5734 for classroom teachers and school support staff

    This is a repeating training that will take place on October 27, November 19, and December 3. MSU Extension and the Michigan Department of Treasury provided best practices for local governments’ fiscal health including:

  • October 13, 2020: CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Fund Software Training Webinar

    This training is necessary for all Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) recipients.

    Beginning this fall, those that received funding under the CRF program will be required to file quarterly financial status reports utilizing the OnCue reporting platform. In preparation for reporting, this training will provide information regarding what is required to be reported, key dates, as well as how to use the OnCue reporting software.     The Michigan Department of Treasury will be hosting a webinar event to assist local governments in the State of Michigan in the management and sustainability of their pension and retiree health care (OPEB) systems. Treasury, the Municipal Employees Retirement System (MERS), the Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems (MAPERS), the University of Michigan, Michigan State University Extension, and the Citizens Research Council will provide updates for local governments on topics such as:
