Present members of the Board of Trustees, and the Executive Director of the Authority are as follows:

EHRLICH J. CRAIN (Trustee since August 22, 2019; term expires August 21, 2023). Ehrlich J. Crain is the Director and Business Development and Diversity Officer for Roncelli, Inc., a full-service general contracting, construction management and real estate development firm headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He manages their downtown Detroit office and is actively involved in the project identification and implementation of metropolitan Detroit construction and development activities. Mr. Crain has over 39 years of experience in construction and real estate development. He is an alumnus of Western Michigan University and is also a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. He is currently Board President of the Detroit Innovation Academy K-8 Charter School, a Board member of the City of Detroit Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Board Treasurer of the East Jefferson Development Corporation and a Board member of the Detroit Athletic Club.

PATRICK DEVLIN (Trustee since April 5, 2019; term expires August 21, 2021). Patrick Devlin is the Secretary and Treasurer of the Michigan Building and Construction Trades Council, which represents over 100,000 men and women in the organized construction industry. He previously served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Greater Detroit Building Trades Council. Mr. Devlin has served on various boards, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (where he has served since 2003), the Engineering Society of Detroit, Emergent Holdings Inc., and the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy. He also serves as President of the School Board for Detroit Community Schools and has recently been reappointed to the State Building Authority Board of Trustees by Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

JIMMY E. GREENE (Trustee since October 4, 2018; term expires August 21, 2022). Jimmy E. Greene is the CEO and President of The Association of Builders and Contractors and The Greater Michigan Construction Academy; companies that advocate, educate and train over 300 builders and contractors in 36 counties. He is an entrepreneur and his involvement in numerous civic and charity organizations is extensive.  He currently serves on the board of directors for Midland County College and Completion Access Program, the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance, the Dow Chemical Citizens Advisory Panel, MITCON, The Shelterhouse and Perceptions, Great Lakes Bay Region.  Born and raised in Flint, Mr. Greene is a graduate of Flint Southwestern High School and attended Washtenaw Community College, Delta College, and is a graduate of the College of Banking and Finance. 

PETER F. SCHWARTZ (Trustee since August 9, 2017; term expires August 21, 2021). Mr. Schwartz is a Registered Representative, Registered Investment Advisor, and a Principal of Schwartz & Co. He has been in the investment advisory business since 1996.  The firm advises on assets of approximately $4 billion for both institutional and private wealth clients. The firm is registered to do business and has clients in all 50 states.  Peter served as the Co-Chair of the Michigan Finance Committee for Mitt Romney for President. He is a former board member for The National Osteoporosis Foundation in Washington D.C., Detroit’s St. Dominic Outreach Center, Women’s Survival Center of Oakland County, Michigan Chamber of Commerce and Racquet Up Detroit. He graduated from Fairfield University in Connecticut with a degree in Political Science.  He and his family reside in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

DALE P. ZAHN (Trustee since May 5, 2017; term expires August 21,2020). Dale P. Zahn is a resident of Holland, Michigan.  He is and has been the CEO of the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of REALTORS since 2000. Prior he was Executive Vice-President of the Greater Davenport Board of REALTORS in Iowa. Dale has a BA degree from St. Joseph's College in Indiana and is a Certificate Program Graduate of the Duke University Non-Profit Management program. Dale has been a both a municipal and township trustee in Illinois. He was inducted into the Dr. Almon R 'Bud' Smith Leadership Society of the National Association of REALTORS in 2014, was named Lakeshore Fair Housing Advocate by the Fair Housing Center of West Michigan and was named Distinguished Service Award recipient by the Michigan Environmental Health Association in 2016. He currently is a member of the Ottawa County Groundwater Task Force and is a former member of the Ottawa County Fair Board. A former broadcaster and writer of newspaper columns, Zahn was one of only 700 out of 1.2 million to be inducted into the REALTORS RPAC Hall of Fame in 2016.

DEBORAH M. ROBERTS, Executive Director. Ms. Roberts has been employed with the State in various positions since 1987. She was appointed Deputy Executive Director of the Authority in 2002, and Executive Director in 2006. In 2018, Ms. Roberts was appointed Director of the Bureau of State and Authority Finance. As such, she is the Executive Director of  the Michigan Finance Authority. Ms. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University and is a registered certified public accountant.
