21st Century Infrastructure Commission
The 21st Century Infrastructure Commission has identified long-term strategies to help ensure Michigan's infrastructure remains safe and efficient now and into the future.
Executive Order 2016-5, created the Commission, which was announced in Snyder's State of the State address in January. The Commission, comprised of state and independent industry experts, were responsible for identifying strategic best practices to modernize the state's transportation, water and sewer, energy and communications infrastructure.
The Commission completed its work and issued a final report to the Governor for his consideration.
Ninety (90) days after issuance and transference of its final report, the Commission shall be deemed to have met the charges placed upon it by Executive Order 2016-5 and shall cease operations.
