Michigan Women's Commission

The Michigan Women's Commission (MWC) was created in 1968 with the mission of improving the lives of Michigan women. Commission duties include reviewing the status of women in Michigan, directing attention to critical problems confronting women, and recognizing women's accomplishments and contributions to Michigan. 
 
The Commission consists of 15 members who each serve 3-year terms.
