Investment Advisory Committee

The Investment Advisory Committee reviewed investments, goals, and objectives of each of the retirement funds. By a majority vote, it directed the state treasurer to dispose of any holding as not suitable for the fund to be involved with, or, with unanimous votes directed the state treasurer to make specific investments.
The Committee was abolished in November of 2018 by Executive Order 2018-10, and was replaced by the State of Michigan Investment Board.
