Local Emergency Financial Assistance Loan Board

The Local Emergency Financial Assistance Loan Board is a board within the Michigan Department of Treasury. The board consists of the state treasurer, the director of the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and the director of the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget. The board's duties involve providing loans, as well as adminsitering those loans, to local units of government and determining whether probable finanical stress exists within local units of government.
