Michigan Veterans Facilities Board of Managers

The Board of Managers exercises certain regulatory and governance authority regarding admission and member affairs at Michigan's two veterans' homes. They also represent the interest of the veterans' community in both advisory and advocacy roles. Board members are appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, to serve three-year terms.

The Michigan Veterans Facilities Authority Board of Managers was abolished by PA 351 of 2020 effective March 24, 2021.
