Rule 97 Certifications

• Rule 97 - General Information All projects involving the application of materials to waters of the state for water resource management purposes require a Rule 97 Certification of Approval from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ).


Bacterial Augmentation

Water Treatment Additives
Click here for: Any water treatment additive that is discharged to a surface water of the state from a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitted discharge requires prior review and approval by the MDEQ's Water Resource Division.
