Libby Child of Grand Rapids was reappointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Funds Administration’s Board of Trustees to represent employers who are authorized to act as self-insurers’ in Michigan.

Ms. Child is the senior consultant of workers’ compensation and disability matters for Varnum Consulting, LLC, and has been in the workers’ compensation field for more than 20 years.  She is on the Board of Managers for the Michigan Self-Insurers’ Association, and was inducted into the Michigan Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame in Lansing, Michigan in April 1999.  In addition, Ms. Child is also serving as a member of the Workers’ Compensation Qualifications Advisory Committee.

Ms. Child is currently the chair for the Funds Administration Board of Trustees.   Her term will expire April 30, 2008.
