Offender Tracking Information System
This site provides Internet users with information about a wide variety of offenders who are, or were, under the supervision of the Michigan Department of Corrections.

The Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) contains information about prisoners, parolees and probationers who are currently under supervision, or who have discahrged but are still within three years of their supervision discharge date. It does not contain information about offenders who are beyond that three year period.

OTIS does NOT contain:

• Information that is exempt under the Michigan Freedom Of Information Act.
• Information about anyone who has been arrested and convicted but not yet sentenced.
• Information about prisoners in county jails or city lockups, or about offenders who were sentenced to jail only. Jails are operated by counties. State prisons are operated by the MDOC.
• Photographs of offenders who left the system before electronic photographs were taken or who are in the system but have not yet been taken.
• Information about offenders who have been off supervision for more than three years. For that information please use the Michigan State Police ICHAT Internet Criminal History Tool.
