Physical Education Curriculum

Physical Education is a planned, sequential K-12 curriculum, designed to provide students with the knowledge, attitudes, skills, behaviors, and confidence to adopt and maintain life-long physical activity. Establishing and implementing a high-quality PE program can provide students with the appropriate knowledge, skills, behaviors and confidence to be physically active for life. (CDC PECAT) A high quality physical education program is the cornerstone of a school's physical activity programming, and a well-written physical education curriculum is the foundation of a physical education program.1
