Flint River Trail

The Flint River Trail system is a network of approximately 27 miles of nonmotorized multipurpose paved trails along the river and through parks and neighborhoods across Genesee County. It is a popular destination for 500,000 residents of Genesee and Lapeer counties, as well as visitors from beyond. This scenic trail is home to diverse wildlife, including bald eagles, ospreys and various aquatic species.

Cross-country skiing is popular on the trail, though the pathway is not groomed.
