Ogemaw Hills Pathway
Explore the 15-mile Ogemaw Hills Pathway, a scenic loop trail through the Au Sable State Forest near West Branch. Access the trail from two trailheads: one near the intersection of East Clear Lake and North Fairview roads, and the other near Sage Lake and Stoney Ridge roads.
Thank you to the Ogemaw Hills Pathway Council for helping to maintain the trail.
The trail is groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter.

Cross-country skiing
All 15 miles of the trail are groomed for cross-country skiing during the winter months.
Hiking
Mountain biking
All 15 miles of trail are open to mountain biking. The trail is not groomed for fat-tire biking in winter, and bikers are asked to stay off tracks groomed for cross-country skiing.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoers are asked to stay off tracks groomed for cross-country skiing.
