Wildwood Hills Pathway
Wildwood Hills Pathway
Discover the scenic beauty of the Wildwood Hills Pathway, an 11-mile multi-loop trail straddling the Cheboygan-Emmet County border, 6 miles southwest of Indian River. This diverse trail system winds through rolling hills blanketed in upland forest, traversing old railroad beds and passing through the charming town of Wildwood. Enjoy wide, well-maintained paths with gentle ascents and easy curves.
There are two trailheads. One is at the intersection of Wildwood Road and Amys Trail, 8.5 miles from Indian River via South Straits Highway, M-68 W and Parke Road. The second trail is off Wildwood Road, 6.2 miles from Indian River via South Straits Highway.
In winter, the trails are groomed for classic cross-country skiing (skate skiing not permitted).
