M-43 (West Saginaw Highway) Improvement Project
About this project
In partnership with Delta Township, MDOT plans to improve 0.8 miles of M-43 (West Saginaw Highway) between the I-96/I-69/Saginaw Highway ramps and Broadbent Road. This project will replace the existing road configuration with a proposed boulevard developed with input from the local community and the public.
With increased business activity and heavy commuter traffic, the area has become a hotspot for congestion, especially at key intersections. These proposed upgrades aim to reduce delays, improve traffic flow, and create a safer, more efficient corridor for everyone who lives, works, or travels through the area.
