What’s Next?
Once the public hearing has been held and the public comment period has ended, the CRA’s final rules – which may incorporate any edits suggested by the public – are sent to the Legislative Service Bureau (LSB) for formal certification.
After MOAHR legal certifies them, the rules are then sent to the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR), a bipartisan state legislative committee made up of five members from the Senate and five members from the House.
