Post Adoption Resource Center Program Overview
The Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC) provides support to adoptive and guardian parents. Children who were adopted or placed into guardianship often have complex needs stemming from trauma experienced when removed from their family of origin due to abuse and/or neglect. PARC offers adoption and trauma-sensitive services through education, training, advocacy, information sharing, coordination with community resources, and case management to help promote long-term stability for families.

Families may contact their local PARC directly, or agencies may make referrals on their behalf with the family’s permission. Participation is voluntary and free of charge. Contact your local PARC to learn more about the resources and support available to you and your family.
