Introduction

The Insurance Section, Supervisory Affairs and Insurance Monitoring Division, Enterprise Monitoring and Insurance Examination Division, and Health Plan Division are responsible for licensing, examining, investigating, and supervising over 120,000 individual licensees and 15,000 entities. This area encompasses several acts: the Health Benefit Agent Act, Insurance Code, Nonprofit Health Care Corporation Reform Act, and the Third Party Administrator Act.
