    Free or Low-Cost Help For Quit Smoking Medication In Michigan

    How Your School Can Get Involved

    If you are looking for quit smoking help, check out these programs.

    Medicaid 

    Michigan ENROLLS can help you find out if you qualify for Medicaid. 

    Many Medicaid programs cover the nicotine patch and nicotine gum. Call 1-888-367-6557 or visit The MDCH Medicaid Page.

    Medicare 

    The Michigan Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program can help you find Medicare savings programs. They can also help you find prescription savings programs. Call 1-800-803-7174 or visit The Michigan Medicaid Assistance Program

    Michigan Tobacco Quitline 

    The Michigan Tobacco Quitline offers free telephone coaching to help quit smoking. Callers without insurance may qualify for free nicotine patches. 

    Call 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669). 

    Partnership for Prescription Assistance 

    This program can help find drug company programs you qualify for. 

    Call 1-800-477-2669 or visit www.pparx.org 

    Connection to Care 

    This program can help you get low cost or free Chantix, Nicotrol Inhaler and/or Nicotrol Nasal Spray. To apply, you fill out a short form and have your doctor sign it. Call 1-866-776-3700 or visit Pfizer Helpful Answers.

    Bridges to Access 

    This program can help you get Zyban or Buproprion SR. To apply, you fill out a short form and have your doctor sign it. A health care professional must send in the form for you. Call 1-866-728-4368 or visit Bridges to Access.

    Together RX 

    This is a savings program available to people without prescription insurance. To see if you qualify, call 1-800-444-4106 or visit Together Rx Access.

    Your Local Area Agency on Aging 

    For people aged 60 or older, your local office can help you find services. To find your local office, call 1-517-886-1305 or visit MI-Seniors.
