Michigan Public School District Maintenance of Effort

Many federal grant programs prohibit the full award to applicant school districts that fail to "maintain fiscal effort." The State Educational Entity is not to award the school district their full allocation amount if it is determined that it did not spend at least 90% during the most recent fiscal year of the amount it spent in the previous fiscal year. Below are several documents relating the MOE process in Michigan.
