To maintain effective operations and communications MPSCS develops policy and procedures to guide staff actions in our support of emergency first responders across Michigan. Through MPSCS policies and procedures we attempt to provide clear statement of principle, plans and courses of action.

Policy, directives and information will vary somewhat in format and content. As MPSCS formalized these, we attempted to keep in a consistent format: subject and purpose; procedures and guidelines; responsible party; contacts for questions; phone, fax and email addresses; applicable forms; termination or review responsibility; and, linkages to other relevant data.
