MSHDA provides many options for renters, these programs are administered by MSHDA's Housing Voucher Programs, Community Development, and Multi-Family Divisions. Each division has several programs with unique qualifications and requirements.

Rental Assistance

The MSHDA Office of Housing Voucher Programs provides rental assistance throughout the State of Michigan in the form of subsidies, through the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program, to more than 24,000 very low-income households that meet eligibility criteria established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
