Detroit Casinos Revenues Down for June by less than 1/2% compared to the same month last year. Greektown revenues show an increase.

Detroit Casino Revenues & Wagering Taxes for June

The Michigan Gaming Control Board reports today that the aggregate revenue and taxes for all three Detroit casinos for the month of June 2009 were down by less than a 1/2% compared to the same month last year, also the revenues were down by 7.1% compared to the last month (May 2009).

Revenue for MGM Grand and MotorCity were down by 10.07% and 3.19% respectively, where as Greektown was up by 24.2% compared to the same month last year. The market shares for MGM, MotorCity and Greektown for the month of June 2009 were 40%, 34% and 26% respectively. 

For the month of June 2009, gaming taxes for the 3 Detroit casinos were $10.02 million compared to $9.84 Million for the same period last year.
