Schedule a School Visit / Demonstration Day

The Explore Lab Science program provides outreach at no cost to educational organizations serving K-12 students in Michigan. Our goal is to spark interest in the sciences, to demonstrate how scientific concepts apply to our everyday lives, and to encourage young people to consider laboratory science as a career choice.

We have a variety of hands-on activities and demonstrations already in place that can be tailored to all ages. We are also more than happy to collaborate with educators to develop new activities that will supplement your classroom curriculum.

Examples of past visits include:

Science fun nights

Career talks

Science festivals and fairs

Summer camps

The Explore Lab Science team has also produced a collection of videos demonstrating our favorite experiments. See below in “Teacher Material” for the video library with links to the videos and a brief description of each experiment. Students can learn more about science by performing the experiments in the classroom or at home using safe and easily found-at-home ingredients.
