COVID-19 Resources for Homeless Assistance Providers
Individuals experiencing homelessness are at higher risk of contracting the coronavirus and experiencing harmful, even life threatening, symptoms from COVID-19. Underlying health concerns, lack of access to medical care and sanitation supplies, communal living environments, and other risk factors all put individuals and families experiencing homelessness at higher risk of COVID-19. Service providers and those working with individuals experiencing homelessness should take extra steps to reach, care for, and support this population during the COVID-19 pandemic.
