Once every decade, the U.S. Census strives to count every person living in the United States. The next census takes place this year, in 2020, and here in the state of Michigan, we are committed to making sure every Michigander — everyone who calls our state “home” — is counted. The accuracy of the results will affect seniors, students, families, businesses and communities here in Michigan.
This year, responding to the Census will be easier than ever with online, phone and mail submission options.
Educate yourself and those around you on the importance of being counted in Census 2020 and watch your mailbox beginning in March 2020 for an invitation to respond.
