The Prescription Drug and Opioid Abuse Commission -- made up of health professionals, law enforcement officers, substance abuse treatment providers, government officials and citizens -- advises state agencies and the governor's office on prevention, treatment and policy related to the opioid crisis. The PDOAC was operational for two years and completed its term on September 1, 2018.
