This rustic campground is set along Andrus Lake and is split into two loops. There are 25 sites that vary in size and can accommodate tents, small trailers and larger trailers up to 40 feet. The campground offers a boating access site and fishing pier for optimal fishing access.
The campground – located 5.5 miles north of Paradise via North Whitefish Point Road and West Vermillion Road – is near Tahquamenon Falls State Park (17 miles southwest) and Whitefish Point (6 miles north).
What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.

A Recreation Passport (park pass) is required for vehicle entry into all state park and forest campgrounds.

There is a boat launch centrally located in the campground. No-wake rules are in place.
Fishing
Panfish are commonly caught in Andrus Lake.

There is a fishing pier located adjacent to the day-use area.
Hunting
This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling.
ORV trails or routes
A county road runs parallel to the campground providing access to ORVs routes in northern Luce county. ORVs are allowed in the campground to enter and exit only.
Paddling
Explore Andrus Lake from the campground. Carry-in access is located approximately 100 feet from the parking area. There is also direct access to the lake from most campsites.

The picnic area is centrally located in the campground. There are picnic tables and one fire ring.
