Bodi Lake State Forest Campground
This secluded, rustic campground is located on the northwest side of Bodi Lake. The lake offers great opportunities for walleye and pike fishing. There is a boat launch on the north side of the lake for small watercrafts, kayaks and canoes. The Bodi Lake Pathway can be accessed directly from the campground and is a 1.25-mile hike through the forest and along the lakeshore. Additionally, the national North Country Trail is nearby and can be accessed at Culhane Lake state forest campground.
There are 12 sites for tent and small trailer use. The campground is located 31 miles northeast of Newberry via M-123 and County Roads 500 and 437.
What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.

A boat launch is located on Bodi Lake, to the left as you enter the campground. No-wake rules are in place.

This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. Learn more about hunting.

A county road runs parallel to the campground providing access to ORVs routes in northern Luce County. ORV use is allowed in the campground to enter and exit only.

Explore Bodi Lake from the campground. Carry-in access is located at the boat launch or directly from some of the campsites.
