Lake Dubonnet State Forest Campground
Lake Dubonnet's rustic campground offers 50 tent and small trailer sites along the tranquil shores of Lake Dubonnet. Surrounded by soaring pine, the location offers a peaceful getaway. Enjoy fishing and boating, and explore the Lost Lake Pathway, which runs through the campground.
The campground is located 4.2 miles northwest of Interlochen via US-31 South and Gonder Road.

Although not groomed, many cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the popular Lost Lake Pathway.

Bass, pike and bluegill are caught in Lake Dubonnet. Other nearby fishing opportunities include Long Lake (3.5 miles east) and Cedar Hedge Lake (2 miles south).

This campground allows ORVs to be ridden from your campsite to access local ORV routes and other roads open for ORV use. All other ORV use within the campground is prohibited.

What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.
