Lincoln Bridge State Forest Campground
This quaint, rustic campground offers nine walk-in campsites suitable for tent use only. Surrounded by a tall evergreen forest, Silver Creek campground is located on the beautiful Pine River and Silver Creek. This campground offers access to many outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, fishing and paddling. A carry-in boat launch a short walk from the campground is designed for kayaks and canoes. The launch area also provides fishing access. The Silver Creek Pathway, great for hiking and open to mountain biking, can be accessed near the boat launch.
The campground is in Lake County, seven miles north of Luther via State Road and 10 Mile Road.
What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.

This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling. Learn more about hunting.

Lincoln Hills (adjacent to campground): 21 miles of cycle/ATV trail and 23 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route.
Little Manistee (ten miles southwest):46 miles of motorcycle trail and 47 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route.
Paddling
Explore the Pine River and Silver Creek. Carry-in access is located approximately 20 yards from the parking area. Parking is available for vehicles with trailers within the campground and near the access site to the river.

All nine sites are walk-in. The shortest hike in 20 yards and the longest is 50 yards from the parking area.
Winter camping
This rustic campground is open all year; however, the campground and seasonal roads are not plowed.
