McCollum Lake State Forest Campground is under the management of Clinton Township. Any concerns or questions about this campground should be directed to the Township at 989-848-8545. This campground contains 20 sites, three sites are walk-in for tent only camping and 11 sites will accommodate larger 40-ft vehicle trailers. This rustic campground includes a small picnic area and adjacent boat launch.

Recreation Passport required

A Recreation Passport (park pass) is required for vehicle entry into all state park and forest campgrounds.

Ramp access on site.
Carry-in access to Au Sable River at Lost Creek (13 miles southeast).

Au Sable River (ten miles south): brown, brook and rainbow trout.

This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 ft. of an occupied dwelling.
