This rustic campground is located on the Dollarville Flooding, which is part of the Tahquamenon River watershed. The Dollarville Flooding is a state wildlife management area. The calm waters of the flooding offer excellent paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities. There is a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk near the boat launch which provides public access to a hunting and wildlife viewing blind overlooking the flooding.
There are 12 sites for tent and small trailer use. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a water spigot. The campground is located four miles west of Newberry via County Road 405 and County Road 434.
What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.

Muskie, perch and pike are caught in the Dollarville Flooding. Nearby fishing opportunities include the Tahquamenon River (on site) and Twin Lakes (six miles southeast).

This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling.
Paddling
Explore the Dollarville Flooding from the campground. Carry-in access is located approximately 25 yards from the parking area at the boat launch.
