This rustic campground is on the northwest side of Pike Lake. Pike Lake is a 292-acre lake providing optimal fishing opportunities for pike, walleye and largemouth bass. This quaint campground frames Pike Lake, wrapping around its shoreline and making water access for kayaks and canoes directly available from most campsites. There is also a boat launch within the campground suitable for small watercraft. There are eight sites for tent and small trailer use.
The campground is located 28 miles northeast of Newberry via M-123 and County Roads 500 and 414.
What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.

A Recreation Passport (park pass) is required for vehicle entry into all state park and forest campgrounds.

A boat launch is located on Pike Lake. No-wake rules are in place.

Walleye, largemouth bass and pike can be caught in Pike Lake.
Hunting
This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling.
ORV trails or routes
A county road runs parallel to the campground providing access to ORVs routes in northern Luce county. ORVs are allowed in the campground to enter and exit only.
Paddling
Explore Pike Lake from the campground. Carry-in access is located approximately 50 feet from the parking area or directly from most campsites
