Shupac Lake State Forest Campground

This rustic campground is nestled among hardwoods along the shore of Shupac Lake. The campground provides excellent opportunities for boating and fishing. There are 30 sites for tent and small trailer use.

The campground is located 3 miles north of Lovells via Twin Bridge Road and Campground Trail.

Recreation Passport required

A Recreation Passport (park pass) is required for vehicle entry into all state park and forest campgrounds.

Panfish are caught in Shupac Lake. Other nearby fishing opportunities include the North Branch Au Sable River (.5 mile west) and K.P. Lake (5.5 miles southwest).

This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling.
