Please note that the name of the campground and lake were renamed in 2023.

This beautiful, rustic campground is on the shore of Ski-Kwe zaag'igan Lake and is known for great year-round fishing. There are 15 sites for tent and small trailer use. The campground is a "carry-in, carry-out," which means there are no trash barrels provided, so please plan trash removal accordingly.

The campground is located 15 miles southwest of Republic via M-95 South.

Recreation Passport required

A Recreation Passport (park pass) is required for vehicle entry into all state park and forest campgrounds.

There is a boat access site on Ski-Kwe zaag'igan Lake.

Rainbow trout, splake, bluegill, perch and bass are caught in Ski-Kwe zaag'igan Lake.

This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling.

The operation of an ORV between the campground and nearby trails is allowed. All county and state forest roads in the area are open to ORVs. The 22-mile Porterfield Lake Motorcycle Trail is 9 miles east.
