This secluded, rustic campground is nestled on a forested bluff overlooking Sunrise Lake. The campground includes 17 wooded sites perfect for tents and small trailers. A boat launch, across 17 Mile Road from the campground provides easy access for paddling and fishing. Sunrise Lake is known to provide excellent fishing opportunities.
The campground is in Osceola County, 6 miles east of LeRoy via Sunrise Lake Road and 15 Mile Road.
What to expect, finding a site
These rustic campgrounds offer stunning river and lakefront settings, perfect for fishing, boating, and paddling. Here's what you can expect:
- No reservations. Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There are vault toilets.
- Potable (drinking) water is available from a hand-pump well.
- No electrical available.
- Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground.
- Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay.
- One camping unit and six people are allowed per site.

Boat launch
A boat launch is located on Sunrise Lake. The boat launch is located across 15 Mile Road from the campground.
Fishing
Bass, blue gill, perch, pike and trout can be found in Sunrise Lake. A nearby fishing opportunity is Rose Lake, 7 miles northwest.
Hunting
This campground provides access to state land open to hunting. Firearm hunting is not allowed within 450 feet of an occupied dwelling.
ORV trails or routes
The Evart Cycle Loop, open to motorbikes only, is within a half mile of the campground.
Paddling
Explore Sunrise Lake from the boat launch across the road from the campground. Carry-in access is next to the parking area.
